No conservative or rational critique is allowed. I gave a critique from rational liberalism and that’s why I had to be jettisoned. If I would have written a leftist tirade calling all the GOs, the Army and the country racist and sexist I would have received a podium at the October AUSA conference and been brought into a GO’s command somewhere.
Sometimes a Uniform is More than That
We also have to understand the uniform as a symbol. The pinks and greens are a symbol of an Army that fought wars and won. The Army Service Uniform is a uniform that symbolizes an army at war for 16 years without a declared victory. Those are the respective periods, eras and moods those uniforms represent.
On Afghanistan
I present to you two options for us to remain: we can either remain under a more proactive construct of counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency pushing the Taliban back into hiding, or we can invade with significant force, suppress and colonize Afghanistan.
Canceled, Part I
That’s when I realized I was being canceled. Cancel culture had come for me. It was inside the gates. We had a broken arrow. Not only was it a broken arrow, but it was also a fragging. Someone from the inside was rolling a grenade under my tent. The people rolling the grenade were people I had worked with, been cordial with, and provided support to. So, I really didn’t understand why they would do this.
