The Governors Revolt

The National Guard deployment to D.C. is exposing the rift between red-state governors and the totalitarian federal administration.

As of this writing, there have been two prominent slights against the National Guard soldiers sent to secure the inauguration from a still-unsubstantiated or unknown threat.

First, after the National Guard jumped through their asses to get troops to DC on short notice they were met with skepticism of their support to the Constitution. National Guard members were questioned, “vetted” by the FBI and their chain of command. The speculation is that this was political vetting. It was reported by Jack Posobiec that some criteria were membership in the NRA, liking or being involved in conservative/libertarian organizations like TPUSA and YAF. We don’t know for sure because the government won’t tell us why they were removing our soldiers from duty. The appearance and what we must assume now is that it was vetting for political allegiance to the democratic party. That was the first slap in the face.

Last night it was reported that NG soldiers were forced out of the Senate office building into a parking garage. One report said they were forced out because of a mask complaint. You know, you can’t have this rabble breathing the same air as our elite representatives. Also, maybe they were just celebrating, as Biden was which means you don’t have to wear a mask. The second smack.

In light of this reporting, the soldiers have been moved back to the Senate building. I don’t know how much better that is but hey it must be better if the soldiers were complaining about it.

There is one state that won’t put up with this shit from the Fed. They don’t give a fuck. That’s right, my home: Texas. On the report of TX NG soldiers being a primary target of political vetting Gov. Greg Abbot threatened to pull the troops out of DC and never send them back. He gave them a chance.

If I was a Republican governor I would have ordered the immediate recall of the National Guard from all federal missions. ALL. MISSIONS. The Governors can do that. They loan these troops to the fed. They allow them to go on Title 10 (active duty) orders. They are the state governor’s troops to appoint to missions. There might be some legal or fiscal consideration to pulling them but if the fed is going to treat them as enemies why would you keep them on the missions.

So after news of soldiers being treated like garbage, Gov. Abbot ordered his State Adjutant General (TAG) to recall all Texas NG soldiers from DC and move them immediately back to the Republic of Texas. Good for him. Every Republican governor should recall their soldiers, refuse to send troops any more during this administration, and cancel any mutual cooperation agreements for support with Democratic governors. Mostly because this mission was complete and utter bullshit and everyone knows it.

Just this morning Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recalled the Florida NG saying, “This is a half-cocked mission and they are not Nancy Pelosi’s servants.” REKT!

The mission is half-cocked. It was hastily planned and executed due to the hyperbolic fear of no substantiated threat. The soldiers had no real mission other than a show of force. A show of force against whom? Well, Americans, of course. I really believe this was an information operation to affect American public attitudes toward Trump his supporters, republican and conservatives, in general, using the one-off Capitol riot as a pretense. I don’t really believe anyone who asked for these forces believed there was an actual substantial threat that would require 25,000 soldiers. A division. We fight Russian brigades with Divisions. The array of forces for the Battle of Baghdad was basically a division.

On top of the National Guard issue, 48 hours after the inauguration, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is already taking the Biden admin to court and he’s promising to keep them there for everything. Really the only people I see standing up for non-Bidenists right now.

I wouldn’t want to the Chief of the National Guard right now. It is becoming quickly apparent that federal overreach might jeopardize the relationship between the states and the fed. Not only will governors of conscience not want to send their soldiers to conduct information operations against their own party, but they may also want to keep them close in case the fed continues to show their ass. Why would they want to give up their military power to a constantly more authoritarian government that doesn’t believe in federalism? Currently, there are 27 Republican governors, if they all start refusing to put their soldiers under Title 10 orders due to mistreatment and mistrust by the federal forces then the Total Army has a problem. I don’t think it will come to that but governors might want to erase the status quo of just accepting every federal mission that comes to their HQ. They need to reciprocate the skepticism of loyalty to the Constitution the feds have of their soldiers onto the fed in general. Turnabout is fair play.
